BJ Vandrovec-Pole Vault, Speed development, Team Training
The owner and president of Victory Athletics. Coach Vandrovec is in his 4th year as the Cal State Fullerton Pole Vault Coach. (NCAA Division 1) Coach Vandrovec is USA Track and Field Level 1 Certified.
BJ has been a part of Southern California pole vault his entire vault career. Starting at Fountain Valley HS earning state honors. He then attended Golden West College where he earned a 3rd place finish his Freshman year and won a state title his sophomore year with a jump of 16ft 7in.. He went on to Michigan State University for a year before transferring to Cal State Fullerton. As a member of titan track and field, Coach Vandrovec qualified for NCAA Regionals twice, and placed himself on the all-time list only behind 2004 Olympian Giovanni Lanaro (18-04.5 in college).
Coach Vandrovec has coached multiple high school athletes to the State Championships over the past 4 years of Victory Athletics’ existence.
